Rive Brut

Rive Brut is rooted in a symbolic territory: the shore, an uncertain zone where dreams and reality brush against one another without merging. A liminal space of gentle rupture, a path toward forgotten fables.

In the spirit of art brut, the violin and the machines weave an instinctive texture here, torn from the earth, sometimes suspended. On this shore, the folk dance transforms into a gateway: traditional melodies (from Poitou, Brittany…) offer a warm and familiar shore, while synthesizers sketch a shifting counter-shore, a mirror of water that amplifies and reinvents.

Rive Brut is a crossing, a dance among the shadows, a dreaming ball, a threshold where the dreams of the in-between world merge.
