Le Mange Bal is one of the pioneering projects of an emerging trad/folk-electro scene (Beat Bouet Trio, Patate Sound System, Turfu, Superparquet...) drawing its sources from traditional Occitan, Auvergne, Poitevin and Breton music. The music comes from folk balls and traditional French regional music, rearranged for drum machine, sampler, accordion, clarinet and analog synthesizer. Le Mange Bal is a regular guest at music festivals, world music festivals and folk dances in France and the rest of Europe (Switzerland, Belgium...).
Le Mange Bal is made up of Théodore Lefeuvre, a French musician, accordionist, keyboardist, machinist, composer and founder of Le Mange Bal, and Nils Kassap, a talented clarinettist from Montreuil who has performed alongside David Karkauer, Sanseverino, Klaus Basquiz, Hamid Drake, Claude Tchamitchian and Loïc Vergnaud.
A project supported by LMD Productions and Zamora Productions.
