Paul d'Amour

Paul d'Amour

French songs, Odyssey of Stories, Poetry
France

From the sidewalks of Strasbourg to the streets of Bogotá, from Eastern Europe to the United States—whether with his first band, Les Garçons Trottoirs; the electronic duo Chlore; as a solo artist; or as part of the “NOS” Collective, Paul d’Amour has performed hundreds of concerts and recorded ten albums and four EPs, exploring musical territories without stylistic boundaries.

His songs, shaped by his encounters, his sense of freedom, and an insatiable curiosity, create sounds and styles that reflect who he is: multifaceted and boundless. This thirst for sharing and experimentation has led him to collaborate with numerous artists, including Florent Vintrigner, Yolande Moreau, Chapelier Fou, Laura Cahen, Pascal Danaë, and Baptiste Brondy of the band Delgres, as well as music producers such as Jean-Louis Pierot (Alain Bashung, Étienne Daho…) and Nicolas Quéré (Oumou Sangaré, Arctic Monkeys, Jean-Louis Aubert…).

In 2020, together with his friend and manager Stéphanie de Freitas, he founded the production company Neno&Tala, a project that reflects their life journeys: free-spirited, bold, and rooted in an independent vision of music production. Through this label, Paul d’Amour champions a holistic approach to music, which he wants to be accessible, immersive, and collaborative. Far from industry dictates, he has developed the NOS Collection—a body of work created in collaboration with people from all walks of life: Our Prisons, Our Sailors, Our Exiles, Our Elders, Our Scientists—presented through music books, multimedia exhibitions, documentary films, and concerts.

Paul d’Amour invites us to see everything, hear everything, and sing everything. In a world all too often divided, his musical approach stands as an antidote: a call for unity, for listening to one another, and for empathy, within a body of work that is both popular and sensitive.
