A modern-day troubadour, Paul d’Amour travels the roads of France to write songs with people.
Every encounter is the starting point for a song. Every song is a true story set to music to tell the story of our times and the people living through them.
On stage, music, stories, images, and personal accounts intertwine to put people back at the heart of the concert and open a direct dialogue with the audience, thus painting—story by story—a sensitive and vivid portrait of our society.
Far from the dictates of the music industry, Paul d’Amour has created his own label, Neno&Tala, where he develops and champions this body of work created through his interactions with the people he meets: farmers, sailors, exiles, scientists, prisoners, healthcare workers, young people, and the elderly…
All these songs trace lines and sounds that reflect his own image: multifaceted, free, and boundless. His musical journey has led him to collaborate with numerous artists, including Florent Vintrigner, Yolande Moreau, Chapelier Fou, Laura Cahen, Pascal Danaë, and Baptiste Brondy (Delgres), as well as with music producers such as Jean-Louis Pierot (Alain Bashung, Étienne Daho…) and Nicolas Quéré (Oumou Sangaré, Arctic Monkeys, Jean-Louis Aubert…).
In a world that is all too often divided, his music seeks out what connects us: listening to one another, empathy, and the stories we share. His work is both accessible and sensitive, where song becomes a space for connection.
