Etinsel Maloya, a group of eight young musicians from Réunion, is driven by the boundless energy of Jordan Perigone. The 30-year-old artist has established himself as a rising star of maloya, the iconic musical genre of Réunion. Under his stage name “LAFRIKIN,” he shines with his authenticity and unique talent for composing and performing lyrics imbued with deep emotion. His style reflects his direct connection to Reunionese traditions.

With Etinsel Maloya, Jordan experienced a major turning point with the release of the music video “Byin arrivé” in 2023, which has been viewed more than 2.1 million times. This success demonstrates his ability to spread the word about maloya far beyond the borders of his native island.
