Neniu

Neniu is a troubadour cyborg, half human, half computer. Described by producer Jacques as a “brilliant artist with magic inside him,” he offers a colorful, comforting, and delicate electro-pop universe, blending cartoon aesthetics with soft, joyful music rich in electronic textures and experimental sounds.

With his first album, Moulin, entirely self-produced and released by La Souterraine in 2022, he has established himself as one of the promising artists of a new generation that straddles genres.

Neniu's highly hybrid music is inspired as much by rap as by electronic music, as much by hyperpop as by French chanson. His lyrics can be seen as a quest for honest, healing speech.

On stage, accompanied by animated films synchronized to the music and modulated by VDJing effects, he jumps around, switching between the microphone and the guitar, his DrumPad and his keyboard.

His latest album, “Les Ailes,” will be released in December 2025 by Parapente: a cocoon woven from electronic elements, field recordings, hyperpop and rap influences, and a pop approach. On TikTok and Instagram, where he has racked up several thousand views from an engaged audience, Neniu brings the caterpillar protagonist of this new arc to life in colorful cartoons featuring multiple characters, building a rich sound and visual universe.
